Regulations for the operation of drones in Europe can be difficult to navigate and are evolving to catch up with new technologies being developed. Our expert trainer on this subject will guide you through EASA’s current regulations which apply to drone operations in Europe and which are being used internationally as a best practice guide. You will be provided with an overview of the regulatory framework and will learn about the open, specific and certified categories that apply to EU drone operations.

After participating in this live lecture you will be able to explain EASA regulations for the operation of drones in European airspace and how they apply to the open, specific and certified categories of operations.

This live lecture is the second of four lectures in the course. The course is produced in collaboration with EUROCONTROL. The topics covered in this lecture are essential to understand for anyone who is planning to carry out drone operations in the near future or who will be responsible for their regulation.
